A compact all-mode mobile/base transceiver from Alinco, built around 1996, unusual for pairing full HF coverage (160-10m) with 6m and 2m VHF in a single chassis and a detachable front panel for mobile installs. Output runs 100W on HF/6m SSB/CW/FM (40W AM) and up to 10W on 2m, with a general-coverage receiver spanning 150 kHz to 200 MHz. That multi-band flexibility made it a popular do-it-all radio for operators wanting HF plus VHF without a second rig, and it remains a budget-friendly used choice for that same combination today.
