Introduced in 2002, the IC-756 Pro II is the middle generation of Icom's 756 Pro series, refining the DSP filtering and display of the original 756 Pro while stopping short of the dual watch and higher-resolution scope later added in the Pro III. It's generally viewed as a stepping stone between the original 756 Pro and the definitive Pro III, and tends to sell for less than the Pro III while offering similar core performance.
