About this radio
Released in 2012, the IC-9100 covers HF through 1.2GHz with D-STAR built into the base unit and support for satellite operation via full-duplex cross-band capability. It became a favorite among satellite operators for exactly that reason — few other all-mode radios of its generation covered HF, VHF, UHF and 23cm together with true full-duplex satellite mode out of the box.
