About this radio
The TS-950SD is the DSP-equipped version of Kenwood's TS-950S flagship, first introduced around 1990, delivering 150W output through a quadruple-conversion receiver capable of true dual-receive with main and sub receivers tunable within about ±500kHz of each other. As Kenwood's top-of-the-line HF rig of its era, it was aimed at serious contest and DX stations, and the DSP-equipped SD version in particular is prized today as a high-end collector's radio.
