The Elecraft KX2 is an ultra-compact QRP HF/6m transceiver introduced in 2016, essentially shrinking the KX3's core capability into a radio the size of a paperback book with an internal battery and optional built-in ATU. Output is around 10W on internal power. It was designed specifically for backpack and summit portable operation where every gram matters, trading the KX3's 2m module option and slightly larger display for size and weight savings. It's one of the most commonly seen radios at SOTA and POTA activations and holds strong resale value as a result.
