The Flex-3000 was part of FlexRadio's original PowerSDR-based generation of software-defined transceivers, sold from the late 2000s as a 100W HF/6m SDR alongside the higher-end Flex-5000. Like other early Flex radios it required a PC running the PowerSDR application for all operation, with the transceiver itself acting mainly as an RF front end and analog-to-digital converter. It's a piece of SDR ham radio history for collectors interested in the technology's early days, predating the SmartSDR-based 6000 series by several years.
