The Flex-8600 is FlexRadio's current flagship SDR transceiver, introduced in 2019 as the successor to the 6700. It runs 100W on HF/6m and adds a wider-bandwidth, higher dynamic-range receiver architecture with eight simultaneous receive slices, direct RF sampling, and support for panadapter displays spanning far more spectrum at once than earlier Flex models. Like the rest of the Flex line it has no conventional front panel and is operated through SmartSDR software, appealing to serious contesters and DXers who want the most capable receiver FlexRadio currently builds.
